What are Hidden files?
Any file with a name that begins with a period or dot (.) on UNIX
and Linux systems. They are called "hidden files" because
by default, they are not included in a directory listing when
using an FTP client, e.g., WS-FTP or CuteFTP. User configuration
files (.htaccess) are often hidden to prevent accidental deletion
or modification. Directory password files (.htpasswd) are also
hidden for the same reasons.

Do I need Hidden File Manager Pro?
Sometimes a hosting service will disable your ability to view
hidden files via your FTP Client. If that's the case, then the
above solutions won't work. That's where Hidden File Manager comes
in. If your hosting service is like mine and won't allow you to
view your hidden files, Hidden File Manager will allow you to
create, view, edit and delete hidden files in any folder on your
server.
Why do I need to manage my hidden files?
Some servers will not allow you to delete a folder containing
hidden files. If you've ever run into this situation, you know
how frustrating it can be. Hidden File Manager will allow you
to easily scan any folder for hidden files and manage their content
and location.
Is Hidden File Manager easy to install?
Yes! All you need to do is create a folder in your cgi-bin; upload
(FTP) the Hidden File Manager script to that folder; change the
permission to 755 and you're good to go. Hidden File Manager is
designed for easy installation.
