RandText Lite

About RandText Lite:

RandText Lite is a Free Perl script that will randomly select a quote, line of text or image from a file and display it on a web page. Simply insert a single line of SSI (Server Side Include) code into your HTML and randomly selected content will be displayed every time someone visits that page.

Requirements:

Perl 5 or later
Unix Server (Not Microsoft IIS)
Your server must support Server Side Includes (SSI)

RandText Lite Features:

RandText Lite will support multiple random text files, so you can easily display a completely different quote or text line with each SSI call to RandText.
RandText Lite comes with an admin center that can be executed from any browser window. The admin center allows you to create new random text files, delete unwanted files, and edit existing files without having to FTP to your server.
The RandText Lite Admin Center and text editor modules are password protected to ensure secured access to your admin center and random text files.
